10K RUN CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations and Thank You to all our 10K Runners and Supporters. The Great Manchester 10K on 10 May 2015 was a huge success, and great fun was had by all runners and supporters alike! We were very lucky with the mild weather conditions on the day with sunshine and no rain. Wai Yin Society is fully participating, for the first time as one of the Great Run Charity Partners, in the BUPA Great Manchester 10K Run. It takes place this year in Manchester City centre on 10 May 2015 starting at 10 am. We have places for 25 runners, wishing to take up the challenge at a reduced price of £14. This has been a very difficult year for us, as well as a remarkable one. It has been remarkable because we changed our name to Wai Yin Society. New Welcome Centre in Cheetham Hill

Annual Staff and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Wai Yin recently celebrated the commitment and hard work of all staff and volunteers ( including the Trustees) at the annual appreciation dinner on Tuesday 9th September 2014. Some eighty participants were in attendance including friends and family. It was held at TOPS Buffet Restauarant on Portland Street, and was a great success!
