Wai Yin Society was founded by a group of Chinese women. Throughout the years, Wai Yin’s services have successfully expanded to a wider community but our focus on Chinese women has never shifted. We understand that many Chinese women are still living in isolation, facing inequality and discrimination, which has profound effects on them and their family.
We value the strength in women and believe in nurturing mutual support to bring the betterment for Chinese women as well as our society. Our Women Project’s services include:
- Parent club
- Interest classes
- Advice and support on domestic abuse
- Sign posting services on: voluntary return programme, law centre, local mainstream social services
- Assistance to access advice immigration, employment and family law
These services are open to all women living in the Greater Manchester area.
