Women and Families

Supporting Women and Families

Wai Yin Society provides free, confidential and culturally sensitive support for women and families living in Greater Manchester.

We specialise in supporting women who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse. We also provide wider family support for parents and families facing a range of challenges, including parenting, family relationships, children’s wellbeing, neurodiversity and accessing local services.

Our aim is to empower women, strengthen families, improve wellbeing and help people build safer, healthier and more positive futures.

Who Can Access Our Services?

Our services are available to women and families living in Greater Manchester. We particularly support people from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and other Chinese communities.

Our team provides support in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, enabling individuals and families to access services in a language they feel comfortable using.
