Wai Yin Society were absolutely delighted, and honoured, yesterday afternoon, to receive a Citizen’s Commendation from Greater Manchester Police. The award was for:
“Dedicated and continuous support, playing an integral part in forging strong community links with residents of China Town and further afield. The Society has cemented an invaluable and professional relationship withthe police and partner agencies to alleviate barriers between them and the local communities.”
I would personally like to thank our staff, volunteers and service users for their vital contribution, and look forward to further serving our local communities in this way.
