Recruitment for Macmillan Volunteers

We are a group of volunteers supporting people affected by cancer. As the need in the community is growing bigger, we need people like you to volunteer your time in whatever way you can. There are many ways to get involved, and some of which are home-based, like talking with someone over the phone, providing emotional support, or general chatting. Your help with practical support, such as cooking a meal, cleaning or gardening would also be appreciated. We Need You! The First 1000 Days project is designed to support everyone around the baby during this important time to ensure the infant’s healthy development and give them a positive start in life. It is a joint project with Wai Yin Society and the Bangladeshi Women’s Organisation. As part of this, we are holding online interactive educational sessions where mums, dads and grandparents can learn about key issues to help baby during their first 1000 days and share their experiences and traditions.
