Macmillan Cancer Support CARE

Wai Yin Society has been awarded a £139,500 CARE grant from Macmillan Cancer Support to help deliver lasting improvements to local cancer care and support services. Macmillan CARE grants are a new initiative by the national cancer charity, as they work to make cancer care better and fairer for everyone, no matter who they are or where they live. Good Things Foundation’s “Digital Nation” Launch

The charity, Good Things Foundation, launched its Digital Nation project at the House of Lords in London on 14th July. The event brought together parliamentarians and digital inclusion experts to address the digital divide and promote digital skills across the UK. Good to see our colleague and IT and Digital Inclusion Officer, Boh Lum Ng, attending the reception along with Hayley and Brian from Learn for Life, celebrating the important work of the digital hubs and bridging the digital divide.
