Manchester is a City for Life

Manchester’s new age-friendly strategy, “Manchester: A City for Life 2023-2028”, was launched today. The strategy has been developed in collaboration with the Age Friendly Manchester (AFM) Older People’s Board, the Age Friendly Assembly, and key strategic partners, services, and frontline workers. The strategy is fully aligned with the Making Manchester Fairer Action Plan and Anti-Poverty Strategy (2022-2027). The new strategy builds on previous progress and looks to a vision for Manchester over the next five years. Chalk to Talk

Wai Yin are offering free activities for the community this summer. I have attached posters for you to share with your partners.   Online Tai Chi Sessions  These sessions offer gentle exercise with an emphasis on mindfulness and improved mental health with our tutor Robert. Participants can join online from home, or they can attend the Welcome Centre and take part there.
