This cultural awareness training programme explores how culture, language, faith and lived experience shape cancer care and support. It is designed for clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals. This training programme will examine barriers to accessing cancer services, including language and communication challenges, cultural stigma and differing health beliefs.
Through presentations from the Wai Yin expert team, community discussions and lived experience sharing, we will explore ways to create more inclusive, accessible and culturally sensitive cancer care for patients, carers and families from diverse backgrounds.
