COVID-19 Update – Centre closures and temporary service suspension

Centre closures and temporary service suspension

Wai Yin Society has been taking protective measures to safeguard the health and well-being of our service user, volunteers, and staff against the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus in recent weeks.

And because of additional guidance from the government about non-essential contact and social distancing, regrettably, we have not taken the decision lightly to close all our centres and suspend our classes and activities at all the centres from Friday 20th March. But although we have stopped face to face working, we have positive ways to communicate with and support our service users such as a befriending telephone daily contact, emergency food parcels, and any other support issues arising.

Please be reassured that our staff team will be working from home, and striving to support our service partners using telephone, video conferencing, and social media.

Please follow the information and advice from Public Health England

For any enquiries, and further information, please continue to contact [email protected]. We will also keep you updated on our website and on social media. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Please take care and stay safe!
