You are invited to join Wai Yin to celebrate
Crossing the Borders.
See artworks created by Wai Yin members with
artist Julie Mosley on display in the gallery,
depicting stories of migration and hear audio
recordings expressing hope, loss and joy living
in this country. Handle and discuss objects in
the gallery’s collection and make your own
journey inspired artwork.

The artwork will continue to be on display
in the gallery on the Floor 1 landing after
Crossing the borders, funded by the Heritage
Lottery Fund, explores immigration and
settlement of individuals of Chinese ethnic
origin in Greater Manchester. Please join us to
share this exciting event and find out about the
journeys of individuals who now live in this city.
