Wai Yin Society was established in 1988 to support Chinese women in need. Since then, we have grown to support their families and their children. One such service supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Here, one of our service users tells of her experiences with our service. We aim to challenge all forms of discrimination and social inclusion, regardless of our users’ backgrounds. We also support women who have been affected by human trafficking, as well as domestic violence and abuse. These issues are often some of the most sensitive to deal with and are compounded by other challenges, but our staff are trained and experienced in working with care and helping our users maintain their dignity. One of our service users tells her story of how we supported her when she arrived in the UK.
