Wai Yin Society was established in 1988 to support Chinese women in need. Since then, we have branched out to support the wider community in Manchester and Greater Manchester. Our Welcome Centre, based in Cheetham Hill, was set up with that aim firmly in mind: to help people and communities in need to build a better future. Adriana was one such service user. Through our work with Rainbow Surprise, Adriana accessed essential support in her time of need. She became a volunteer at the Welcome Centre, which led to gaining skills and building her social circle. She now works at the Welcome Centre, providing essential support to the local community. We help to create a future for people like Adriana.
