Welcome Centre Open Day

On the 16th of March 2018, Welcome Centre was bustling with excitement as we were hosting an Open Day. This event was funded by the Guinness Partnership.  The Open Day has provided opportunities for over 200 Guinness tenants to learn more about the services offered at Welcome Centre. For many of them, this is the first time they attended an event at a community centre near them. Notice 2018 Easter 通告 慧妍社將於二零一八年三月三十日（星期五）及四月二日（星期一）復活節假期休息。 我們會於二零一八年四月三日（星期二）恢復正常服務。                     Office Closed Notice Wai Yin Society will be closed on Good Friday 30th March, 2018 and Easter Monday 2nd April, 2018. International Women’s Day 2018

Women of possibilities! This month, we celebrated International Women’s Day with a number of programmed activities within our local communities.   We were delighted that over 100 people turned up on the actual day (Thursday 8th March) to celebrate International Women’s Day with a number of programmed activities at Sheung Lok Well Being Centre.  A creative drama presented by a group of women brought the audience back to 100 years ago, to the Women’s Suffrage movement in both China and the UK.  It’s not commonly known that those pioneering efforts in China contributed to women getting the vote in the UK.
