Elderly Project

The Older People Project provides a vital service to many elderly Chinese in the Manchester area. The majority of elderly Chinese do not speak English and are potentially very isolated. The Older People Project has been established to provide social care for Older Chinese people. Through the Project, elderly people are able to meet, to enjoy Chinese food together, and access a range of support services. Valuing the experience and wisdom of older people is integral to Chinese culture. The Older People Project sustains older people in their retirement and keeps families together.
