There are four different types of membership available to all people.
Full membership of the Society is normally given to women over 18 who consider themselves of Chinese ethnic origin and who are deemed to be in sympathy with the objects of the Society.
Family membership of the Society is normally given to women over 18 who consider themselves of Chinese ethnic origin and who are deemed to be in sympoathy with the objects of the Society and their family members. Family members are defined as immediate family only, i.e., husband/wife and children under the age of 18.
In the case of family membership, only the head members who are Chinese women over 18 have the right to vote.
All persons who have cultural links with the Chinese ethnic community and are agreed in principle with the above stated aims are called Associate Members. Associate members do not have right to vote at Members’ Meetings. Apart from voting rights, associate members enjoy the same benefits as a full member does.
