Wai Yin Chinese Women Society seeks an Adult Learning Co-ordinator to develop the Adult Learning Unit which is currently franchised by MAES (Manchester Adult Learning Services). The main task of the post is to provide support according to the training needs of adult learners and to assist their progression to employment when appropriate.
We are looking for someone with experience of supporting learners particularly from Chinese community or other ethnic minority groups. Strong candidates will have a track record working with diverse communities and an ability to manage a large team of tutors and the supporting staff, able to input data and with experience of supporting learners to meet their learning needs.
The contract for this post is till end of March 2009.
