Wai Yin Chinese Women Society seeks a Family Learning Co-ordinator to deliver family learning activities to the Chinese community. The Family Learning Project is funded by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and match funded by Manchester Children Services. The main task of the Family Learning Co-ordinator is:
To help up to 100 Chinese parents and carers who have not been involved in structured learning for at least 3 years to take the first steps to try out interest based learning and other learning activities which help them to understand and support their children’s learning at school. Targeted parents or carers are those who have children aged between 5 – 13.
