Train-to-Gain Apprenticeship course provided by BoltonWISE

Are you interested in working in a professional childcare setting?

If so, you will need childcare qualifications in order to do so.

Wai Yin is working with BoltonWISE to provide training to help people achieve FREE NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Childcare for those who are interested in doing this kind of work.

An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) in Childcare requires that learners be working or volunteering in a professional childcare setting in order to obtain the full NVQ Level 2 qualification. 

We will work with you to help you find a placement if you are not already working in childcare.  You will be assessed based on your working practices as well as on your knowledge.

BoltonWISE, through funding from Train-to-Gain, provides the necessary foundational knowledge classes in childcare at Wai Yin once a week, Thursdays 9:30am-3:30pm.

This qualification takes a minimum of 9 months to achieve, requiring dedication and commitment to completing the course. Contact us for September registration. 

Classes are held in English, but we can provide support for BME learners with limited English as necessary. You will need to satisfy an initial assessment in English and Maths in order to join the course.
