Mark has worked at Wai Yin since 2002 although he has been involved in the Kwan Wai (Mental Health) Team since its beginning in 1999. Mark is a qualified psychiatric nurse with nearly 30 year experience in both the NHS and the voluntary sector. Mark has a History degree from Cambridge University, a Masters degree from Sheffield University and a teaching certificate from Manchester Metropolitan University. He has worked as a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Manchester Metropolitan University. Mark manages the SEVA Team at present, a partnership project with the Pakistani Resource Centre and the African and Caribbean Mental Health Service.
